With days cash on hand in the low 30’s, Signature Healthcare embarked on an 8 year plan using lean as a management system to survive and thrive through a rapidly changing payment system. The strategy is simple, smartly convert volume to alternate payments, reduce volume by improving chronic care, maximize all APM bonuses, become more efficient, retain volume locally and grow primary care. Sounds easy, plays hard.
