SUMMARY:ACHE of MA Panel Series Presented by the ECN: The Future of Accountable Care
DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, September 12\, 2019\nShriners Hospital\n5:30 PM – 8:00 PM\nShriners Auditorium\n51 Blossom Street\nBoston\, MA\nDirections \nAccountable care organizations cover over 10% of the US population and span across all payer sources: commercial\, Medicare\, and Medicaid. As the population ages and lives longer\, it’s more important now than ever to effectively manage and coordinate care across the continuum. Medicaid beneficiaries with a behavioral health diagnosis account for almost half of Medicaid spending\, yet traditional fee-for-service programs boast little to no incentive to coordinate care for this population. The launch of the ACO Certification program in 2017 made Massachusetts the first state to have statewide\, all-payer standards for care delivery. The programs continue to grow as payer reform continues and primary care providers become the quarterbacks of their patients’ care delivery\, yet significant challenges still exist as patients transition across multiple providers\, organizations and care settings. \nJoin ACHE of Massachusetts for a live panel series discussion designed to spark intriguing discussion around the future of accountable care in Massachusetts\, what health care leaders in the state are doing to manage their ACO population\, and how they establish a standard of brand equity and care across providers and settings. How will traditionally disparate organizations re-engineer communication? What types of careers will be created as a result of this paradigm shift? How do we truly integrate acute to post-acute\, and where do we go from here? \nWhy Attend?\n\nUnderstand the role of accountable care\, risk-based care models\, and community-based care in creating careers in healthcare\nLearn how local organizations are integrating care throughout their organization\nObtain long term career advancement strategies relating to accountable care\nCollaborate and network with fellow professionals who are passionate about healthcare\n\nSpeakers\n\nRachel Rosenblum\nChief Operating Officer\nAtrius Health\nJessica Dudley\, MD\nChief Medical Officer\nBrigham and Women’s Physician Organization\nRobin Hynds\, MSN\, RN\, CPHM\nVice President of Care Continuum and Network Development\nLawrence General Hospital\nChristine Rooney\, MD\nDirector of Clinical Initiatives & School Based Health Centers\, Great Lawrence Family Health Center & Director of Behavioral Health & Home Health\, My Care Family ACO\nCo-moderators\nNicholas D’Addabbo\nDirector of Clinical Strategy\nNizhoni Health\nShalina Patel\nProject Coordinator\nBrigham and Women’s Physicians Organization\n\nSpeaker Bios \nAgenda\n\n\n\n5:30 to 6:30 PM\nRegistration/Networking\n\n\n6:30 to 8:00 PM\nPanel Discussion and Q&A\n\n\n\n\nInvestment\n$5 ACHE & BYHP Student Members\n$15 Student Non-members\n$20 ACHE of Massachusetts/ACHE Members & BYHP Members\n$30 Non-members \n*Please note: Price will increase to $30 for all attendees on Wednesday\, September 11\, 2019. \nCANCELLATION: To cancel your registration\, please notify us in writing no later than one week prior to the event for a refund\, less a $5 nonrefundable processing.
