Our Commitment to Inclusive Leadership for Transformative,
Patient-Centered Healthcare
ACHE of Massachusetts is committed to fostering an inclusive membership experience for the advancement of healthcare leadership excellence. We strive to create an environment that elevates all leaders across every industry sector, regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, religion, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability.
We believe diversity of background, perspective, and experience is imperative for promoting patient-centeredness, enhancing the healthcare workforce, fueling innovation, and driving the transformational change our industry needs. We prioritize inclusivity in both our leadership and membership, recognizing that diverse voices strengthen how we accomplish our work on behalf of the communities we serve.
Our Chapter demonstrates this commitment through various programs and initiatives, including:
-Integrating civic activities into all Chapter Committee goals.
-Exploring opportunities to sponsor/promote events and programs that discuss health equity, reducing disparities in care, and improving access to care for all segments of the population.
-Ensuring inclusive objectives are incorporated into planning across all Committees.
-Featuring communications that highlight the diversity of our members and create opportunities for belonging and engagement.
-Awarding the annual Torchbearer Award to a healthcare organization that exemplifies the critical role of diversity, equity and inclusion in enhancing healthcare delivery.
