Greetings, ACHE of MA Members –
As we move from spring into summer and look toward the rest of 2026, I continue to be inspired by the creativity and engagement of the ACHE of Massachusetts community. Healthcare leadership today requires far more than operational expertise alone — it demands adaptability, collaboration, emotional intelligence, and a willingness to lead through uncertainty while staying grounded in purpose. Across our Chapter, I see leaders stepping forward to support one another, share ideas openly, and invest in the future of our profession. Whether through educational programming, mentorship, networking events, volunteer engagement, or community partnerships, our members continue to demonstrate what makes healthcare leadership meaningful: a commitment not only to organizational success, but to people.
This spring’s programming and events reflected that spirit. From thoughtful conversations on vulnerability and leadership, to discussions about the evolving future of healthcare delivery, workforce sustainability, innovation, and clinician well-being, our Chapter remains focused on creating relevant, practical, and inspiring opportunities for professional growth and connection.
I also want to encourage all members to join us for our 2026 Annual Healthcare Summit this October at Gillette Stadium. This year’s theme, “No Final Buzzer: Leading in Healthcare When the Game Never Stops,” reflects the realities healthcare leaders face every day — balancing constant operational demands while continuing to lead teams, improve care, and support our workforce. We are especially excited to welcome Chris Herren as our keynote speaker, whose message around resilience, recovery, wellness, and leadership promises to be both powerful and deeply relevant to healthcare professionals. I hope you will make plans to attend what is shaping up to be one of our most engaging and meaningful events yet.
Finally, I encourage every member to find ways to become more involved in the Chapter. ACHE of Massachusetts continues to grow because of the energy and contributions of volunteers, committee members, mentors, sponsors, and engaged healthcare leaders from across the Commonwealth. Whether you are early in your career, pursuing your FACHE credential, or serving in a senior executive role, there is a place for you to contribute and grow within this community.
Thank you for your continued support of ACHE of Massachusetts and for the work you do every day to improve healthcare for the patients, families, teams, and communities we serve. I look forward to connecting with many of you at upcoming events throughout the year!
Warm regards,
Jack Bailey, MS, FACHE
