Empowering the Future of Healthcare Leadership
As a full member or Fellow of the ACHE under the age of 40, you are automatically a member of the Early Careerist Network (ECN). The ECN offers a variety of resources—many available online, HERE —to help you navigate the growing complexities of your professional journey.
ACHE of MA’s Early Careerist/Emerging Leaders initiative elevates this essential member cohort with focused educational and networking opportunities, in collaboration with our educational partners. This initiative supports the crucial transition from graduate student to early careerist to emerging leader, equipping you with the tools and guidance necessary for ongoing professional growth. It is dedicated to helping emerging leaders establish a strong foundation for long-term career success, while maximizing the benefits of ACHE membership to accelerate your professional development.
Advancing Emerging Leaders in Chapter Leadership Roles
ACHE of MA’s dedication to early careerist members is reflected in our leadership structure, which includes ECN representation at the Board level and across all Committees, with an Early Careerists Vice Chair.
This approach streamlines access to Chapter Leadership and resources, enhances transparency in decision-making, and opens up more opportunities for inclusive learning and networking initiatives. It also fosters a culture of feedback, open communication, and innovation, encouraging fresh perspectives that drive continuous improvement.

ECN Programming and Events
In addition to our strategically matched Mentor Program (see Mentorship page), our chapter hosts a variety of programs throughout the year, including an annual half-day in-person education and networking event, our quarterly “Lunch-N-Learn” series and collaborations with sponsors and partners to further enhance networking and learning opportunities.
