Now Accepting Nominations: 2026 ACHE of MA Torchbearer Award
ACHE of Massachusetts is now accepting nominations for its annual Torchbearer Award, recognizing a Massachusetts healthcare organization making strides—both internally and externally—in improving equitable access to patient-centered care through inclusive leadership, innovative practices, and measurable community impact.
This award honors organizations that reduce health disparities, cultivate diverse governance, strengthen community partnerships, and deliver meaningful results for the patients and communities they serve.
Nomination criteria include:
- Data collection & analysis on disparity/equity outcomes
- Cultural competence and inclusive practices
- Representation in leadership and governance
- Community engagement and partnerships
- Staff support and resilience resources
- Equity-integrated operations
Projects may be system-, organization- or department-wide and do not required to achieve success in areas for consideration.

The award recipient will be announced at ACHE of MA’s 2026 Annual Healthcare Summit at Gillette Stadium on October 16.
